Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a highly motivated intellectual property litigation associate attorney to join its Minneapolis office.
The attorney will work with intellectual property litigators in Minneapolis, as well as across the firm's national offices. The attorney will work on a wide variety of patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secret cases and receive training from experienced trial attorneys. The preferred candidate should have experience representing clients in intellectual property litigation and/or post grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and be motivated to take an active role in matters, including managing ESI collection and production, taking and defending depositions, analyzing patents and prior art, drafting claim charts, collaborating on expert reports, drafting substantive motions, and preparing for and assisting in hearings and trial.
Qualifications
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance. For unincorporated Los Angeles county, to the extent our customers require a background check for certain positions, the Company faces a significant risk to its business operations and business reputation unless a review of criminal history is conducted for those specific job positions.
